why is the bar that used to be on the bottom, now twice as wide and located just below the tool bar ? How can I get it back on the bottom where it belongs!

FF 4...how do I get that oversized bar that used to be at the bottom of the browser, now located just below the tool bar, back to its rightful place (and half the width)????

Sometimes I wonder why I go along with these updates, they seem to be more trouble than they are worth.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
