Just downloaded Firefox 4, cannot print web pages, print is all skewed, looks like secret coding.
Tried to print a web page friendly receipt and then tried printing a web page, print is skewed, looks like some sort of encryption.

Strange thing that. I printed something from gmail not half an hour ago and my first print preview of it revealed the same problem. I closed the window and reloaded it and after that, the preview looked okay and the page printed like I'd expect.
Thanks for your info, closed the browser and still the same garbled printing when trying to print from the web. I don't use Gmail so I have no idea it that works.
Same problem, very frustrating. I look into the "old" version of Firefox and I can print just fine. newest version seems faster, wish they'd fix printing problem.
Thanks for your info. I can print on an older version too. You would think that it would be an easy fix.
This is a known issue in Firefox 4 beta 12. You could wait til' the next beta (or RC) comes out, or you could grab one of the latest nightly builds availible here that fix this problem: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/ 64 bit link: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/firefox-4.0b13pre.en-US.win64-x86_64.installer.exe 32 bit link: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/firefox-4.0b13pre.en-US.win32.installer.exe

Thanks, tried the fix and works fine.
Installing nightly builds is not recommended for most people. If you install a nightly build you will get updates every day. Though the current nightly builds are stable, it is not unusual for them to be very unstable and at time unusable.
I have to agree with what Tony says, better just to wait for the RC. Downloading the nightlies are a quick fix if you absolutely have to print right now:)
