When using Facebook in Firefox (doesn't happen with IE), anytime I click to view previous comments to a post or to play an inbedded video, a question box appears asking "are you sure you want to navigate away from this page". Any ideas?

The problem occurs only with Firefox. Answering 'Yes' to the question box simply opens Facebook in another tab where the problem persists.

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
