When I try to access one particular site (www.bbc.co.uk) I simply get a white page with the words "Apache is functioning normally " on top. I can access that site by typing url into chrome or ie and the site comes up as normal. I can access another bbc site with FF by typing in the full url. (I am using Win 7 -home 64 bit)???

Just a guess but as other browsers have no problem maybe look at firefox's DNS or proxy settings.

Thanks for posting j99. I have changed proxy settings to "No Proxy", but the problem remains. How do you change Firefox's DNS settings?

Changed dns to disable IPv6 and did not help. Cleared all history and cookies and problem solved!! - Thanks
