MS XP can I use MS IE and Foxfire one at a time?

Do I need to remove MS IE and OX, or can I keep then while testing Foxfire?

Firefox is the name. Foxfire is a bio-luminescent fungus.

Keep IE for Windows update (yes you still need to Windows and IE to date even if IE is not used) and for sites that are poorly done and works mainly in IE.

Firefox is completely separate as it does not use IE as a shell or such. You can run both at same time.
