The default theme is nice and clean, so you can read everything. Also, nearly all add-ons work flawlessly with it.

Here's how for Firefox 5.0: 1. Go to Tools on top menu bar. 2. Select Add-Ons from drop-down list. 3. In pop-up menu choose Appearance from the left side. 4. The top choice is Firefox's default theme.
