How do I install firefox?
I've downloaded the new version but can't figure out what to do now.

Are you sure that your Linux distro meets system requirements for Firefox 3.6?
AFAIK, most distros that came with Firefox 2 versions don't support the Firefox 3+ versions. You might need to install a newer version of Linux, or update certain "packages" like GTK.
I had that situation with my EeePC which came with Xandros Linux, which isn't supported too well. I updated the GTK package and Firefox 3 ran very slow. I then installed a netbook version of Ubuntu 10.4 called EasyPeasy and found performance that didn't exist even when my netbook was new in 2008.
Awesome! Can you tell me how to do that. I'm a Windows person and not familiar at all with this. Can you give me a step by step?
