How to open links from my email in the current FF profile?
I made a shortcut to enable me choose an FF profile each time I want to use FF. Here's the code: "E:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager -no-remote
I also set FF as the default browser.
My problem occurs when I'm clicking a link form Mozilla Thunderbird while opening an instance of FF and then the FF profile manager shows up. I was asked to choose a profile to open the link with.
I prefer when I'm opening an FF instance, links from my Thunderbird will open directly in the current FF instance I'm opening instead of asking me again which profile I want to use.
Any suggestions of how I can do that?

You can't make Firefox work according to those parameters. The largest obstacle is the -no-remote command with the default browser which would normally use the default Profile (which is the one highlighted when you run the Profile Manager and the one listed as Default=1 in the profiles.ini file.)
1. Setup separate desktop shortcuts to launch each respective, you shouldn't be running multiple Profiles from the ProfileManager.
2. Don't launch the default Profile with the -no-remote command, launch it first before opening other Profiles.
3. Thunderbird will open the default browser, with the default Profile; you can't get it to use an existing process that was launched with the -no-remote command.
I see.. so if I have 3 profiles, I need to have 3 shortcuts.. What command do I need to launch different profiles?
