Firefox 4.b8 locks up after opening home page is G-mail. Was working Ok until about 2 weeks ago. Other Browsers OK. Like Firefox ! Sy

Chosen solution
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I Just downloaded the NEW Firefox 4.9 and still have the very same problem. The home screen G-mail comes up OK, then all is locked. I thought the new version my fix problem, but all the same. Sy
