How do I transfer my Favorites from IE to Foxfire

Posted

I have a long list of Favorites on my Internet Explorer screen. How do I transfer that list intact to my Foxfire screen? I'm not sure what toolbar my Favorites are in, because it's not labeled anything besides Favorites. Could be Windows, Internet Explorer, Yahoo??? Someone suggested I right click on it , but I don't know what option to click on next.

I use Vista Home Premium

Over all, awesome though and definitely thanks for the help! Just an idea on how to improve a little. :) Might want to update this help to show how to do it with the new beta. The process is not quite the same and as a complete newbie to firefox and not too tech-savvy I had a little trouble figuring it out but finally stumbled through it. @ Sioned Might want to update this help
I do not have firefox 4 on this particular computer. The only difference I recall is the Bookmarks menu now is show all, instead of Organise, when you try to select the bookmarks library.

Possibly if you see that or any other differences it may be worth posting on the discussions section of the page concerned.

I did just glance at the importing favourites ... KB article it has been updated, it has both a firefox 3.6 &4.0 version, you should see whichever one matches your browser version; alternativley click on the link with a + sign showing the version (& OS )to see other versions of the article.

Also the discussions linked from the articles do not seem to be in use properly as yet if you do see problems they are being discussed on the KB forum of the SUMO discussions
