Can't view a page on just one particular website
I am using a laptop with mobile broadband. I have (normally) no trouble viewing any web-pages from any site. Today, however, when I go to the Waterstones Booksellers page(s) I cannot see any images of the main page. i.e. where I would see products. I have checked other (non-Waterstones) sites and have no problems elsewhere. I have checked this site on another PC and there are no problems. I must have accidentally done something to Firefox which has disabled viewing this site. Can anyone help?

Are you enabling third-party images?
Check the pref permissions.default.image on the about:config page and make sure that it has the default value 0.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
See:
- A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (How do I tell if my connection to a website is secure?) on the left end of the location bar.
- A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
- Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
- Select the first image link and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
- If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Alas, did not work! Something I will remember though... As a very last resort I revived IE (where I could not view the page either) and found compatibility mode which resolved the problem there, but just for IE. Now I do not like IE one bit so really want to sort this for Firefox. Is there a similar compatibility mode within Firefox so I can ditch IE again?
Many thanks, Barry

Check the pref permissions.default.image on the about:config page and make sure that it has the default value 0.
The default value was 1 so I changed it to 0. Sadly, made no difference. In the end I have given up and, following advice, imported the IE view Add-On into Firefox. Now it will always view these pages through IE so that I can see the images correctly.
Thanks to all for their assistance, sorry for being such a 'nerd'.
