How do I turn off firefox inheriting the gnome theme?

Firefox tries to adopt my gnome theme, which doesn't work very well. I end up with white text on white backgrounds and black text on black backgrounds and it's near enough unusable. I'm currently using chrome as I can find no way to turn this integration off.

I have some text in that search box, but I can't see the text because it's white text on white background.
