I have been using Mozilla for quite awhile and suddenly this past week it will not load. You click on the icon and nothing happens. I deleted it and re-installed it and it still won't work. My IE works just fine and Mozilla works well on my other computer. I have run virus programs, registry programs, RegCure, PC Tools, etc...... I checked to see if the files were still there and they are. I am perplexed on why this won't work. Any ideas? Thank you

The problem also is I get no error replies so I don't know why this is happening. I click on the icon and either nothing happens or I get a small little box with a minimize and close buttons and nothing else.
One of your add-ons might be the culprit. Try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If that solves the problem, see Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and possibly Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
It will not open in safe mode, I tried that.
Have you tried creating a new profile? Your profile stores the settings you made in Firefox. In some cases a new profile may need to be created to correct a problem.
I tried this and it said Firefox has crashed and it will send a report. I can not even change my profile.
To fix problems caused by corrupt files in the installation folder, perform a clean install. This will not affect bookmarks, settings, or history.
- Hold down the Windows logo key and press R to bring up the Run dialog.
- Type %PROGRAMFILES% (or %PROGRAMFILES(x86)% on 64-bit Windows and press OK.
- Right click on the Mozilla Firefox folder and press Rename.
- Type in a new name, such as Old Firefox
- Press Yes to confirm the name change
- Install Firefox normally from http://www.mozilla.com
Can you provide me with your Crash ID? This can help me find the cause of your crash.
