I would like to know if it is possible to access my bookmarks on any computer via the Internet (Firefox - IE - ...) without installing Firefox Sync necessarily

Firefox sync will synchronize your bookmarks, but the bookmarks are kept on the local computer, and it is for Firefox only. If you want to access the bookmarks from anywhere you will need to use an online bookmark service.
