i am not able to install firefox 4 beta(its a tar.bz2 file) on ubuntu latest version. please give me detailed instructions

i tried installing firefox 4 beta 6 on ubuntu 10. i downloaded firefox tar.bz2 file but i cannot use ./configure or make or make install

Hello, try this

add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa

apt-get update

apt-get install firefox-4.0

You should see it in Applications>Internet>Minefield 4.0 Web Browswer
