I accidentally removed my address bar/file/history/tools/etc., line on the top of my screen-I did this while removing extra toolbars-I don't know where to find it or how to get it back. I did a system restore, but that didn't bring it back. I don't know what to do! I had no idea that could be removed! I have little technical knowledge & have done everything I can think of to find it or bring it back.

Chosen solution

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.

Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

Also, the forward/back arrows, favorites, bookmarks, etc., are gone as well.

WORKED PERFECTLY! Thanks! This after almost 1 hour with computer tech help line. Just followed instructions. Also had to fill check box for directional for page.

Problem was getting tool bar and directional icons back after somehow blocking them. My question was, "toolbar gone".

You guys are good!
