I just upgraded from Beta 3 which worked fine to Beta 6. Now every time I open FF the bookmarks button is missing from the navigation toolbar and I have to re-place it there manually.

Okay, after a while it happens again. Sometimes when I go to reset the toolbar items I'm missing icons from the customize menu as well. If I close the browser and open it a couple of times they re-appear.

Did you try to delete localstore.rdf in the Firefox Profile Folder ?

Thanks for the help. Traced it back to greasemonkey, which for some reason seems to be screwing with the menu bar. Works fine as long as I don't have that addon installed. Oh well, it was a beta.
