Some of the new features on Firefox 4 will only be available on newer versions of Windows, as they rely on features of the operating system that are not present in Windows XP. The basic functionality will be the same, but the main difference will be the appearance/theme used in XP, and not using hardware acceleration as it relies on features in recent versions of Windows.
