I close firefox and then I have to restsart computer to be able to open it again

When I am done using computer I close firefox out. I do not turn off my computer. Now I want to use my computer again and I click on firefox icon and firefox does not pop up.,but when I go to shut it down a box pops up asking me if I want to save my page and that firefox is running. The only thing is it is not showing.

See "Firefox is already running but is not responding" error - How to fix for possible causes. In your case it appears that Firefox is not closing properly, Firefox hangs at exit may be relevant in your case.

Thank you.I read Firefox hangs at exit and I will try the tings there and see if that helps. What is really odd is I can not close Firefox in the Task Manager for it don't show up so I have to shut my computer down. I will let you know what happens.

I am not sure why,but everything is working good again. I closed Firefox down and then stated it in safe mode which I could not do before and then I closed it and started it nu clicking on my icon. Thanks again
