The thing is that many will be reluctant to save password on mozilla servers, so is it possible to setup up our own instance on our personnal/entreprise server to store all things of firefox ?

All the data sent to the Sync server is encrypted and the encryption key is stored on your local PC's, so it verges upon being impossible for anyone (including Mozilla Sync administrators) to be able to use any of your data.

That said, I have heard of users setting up local Weave server in this Google Group - http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla-labs-weave/topics

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Weave/FAQ - at the bottom under "Diving Deeper - https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Weave/Sync/1.0/Setup

You can start the Sync setup (Tools > Set Up Sync) and in "Create your sync account" choose "Connect to: Use a custom server"

You need to supply the full URL including the protocol (http:// or ftp://)
