The page in Arabic does not have visible language converter, making it quite difficult to change default page in available language.

It's not usually Firefox but the website that decides what language to give you. Often it bases that on your location (from your IP address).

You can try setting English above Arabic in preferred languages Tools > Options > Content > Languages but not all websites take any notice of that.

Some sites - eg google - allow you to set a preferred language. That might help. Look at Search Settings in the top right-hand corner. (Or perhaps the top left-hand corner in Arabic ;-)

You can also have an English version of Firefox (if you do not already) - but that won't affect the language of websites.

You can click the link at the bottom of the local Google page to go to the "Google.com in English" site.
You may need to hover that local Google page with the mouse to make extra content appear.
You can set Google preferences on the Google Search settings page (link at the top right).
