my new HP F4480 will not print web pages using Firefox 3.6.8;how can I print

The HP driver/installation disk included a feature called "Smart Web Printing" which installed only withing Internet Explorer even though I use Mozilla Firefox 99% of time on internet. I can print a web page or partial web page while using IE. I want to print from Mozilla but the Print or Print Preview from "File" drop down will not activate print command. Is there a way to change some setting to enable printing in Mozilla?
