Why doesn't HOME KEY work in all web sites

The Home key doesn't move the page to the top in some pages that I visit often. It is not the Caret browsing issue. Arrows and End keys work fine but Home very often doesn't (F7 doesn't help as in Carel browsing toggle).

I'm a Mac user.

Plugins steal keyboard focus so whenever you've clicked in a flash object or other plugins the keys won't work.
