Have 3.6.8; would like to get the 4 beta version; can I keep both, and transfer add ons and toolbars from one to the other?
Ihave Firefox version3.6.8 on Windows XP; would like to download the beta version 4. Can I run both? If so, which opens first or do I get 2 Firefox icons to choose between? Also, will add-ons/apps/toolbars be copied to both, or do I need to/can I use Firefox Sync?

Quite honestly, if you can't handle pasting data from the clipboard into this forum, your computer skills may not be sufficient to handle the testing of 4.0 beta versions.
4.01b1 will install to its' own program files folder, and not overwrite Firefox 3.6.8; but you need to create a new Profile for 4.0b1.

None of the 3.6 toolbars and extensions are probably going to work in 4.0, the toolbar area code has major changes over 3.6.
