I have firefox 4 beta on Windows XP - do I need vista or W7 to have that orange menu button on the left? on my notebook with Vista FF4 looks different than on pc with XP - why?

Right-click the Menu bar (File, Edit, etc) and click on the Menu bar item in that Context menu, so the check-mark is gone.
