I am on a websit which uses pop ups to define certain information; however, the pop ups will not open on this website...any suggestions?

On a particular website which uses pop ups to define information the pop ups do not open whether or not I enable pop ups in the tools option menu. any suggestions of how to utilize the pop up window for a specific site? Previously (yesterday and before) I was able to click on the pop up and read the information. As of today the pop up is not working.
