keeps downloading multiple copies of v. 3.6.6. was downloading the 4th copy when I shut it off

I upgraded to v. 3.5.10 yesterday –– today, there's v. 3.6.6. After the download finished, I was abt to install it, when another file began downloading. this happened 2 more times, becoming (3) and (4) –– I then cancelled the session. Is 3.6.6 large enough to be subdivided, or are there other issues? Thanx
