the letter to the right of Q comes up as ...-said letter-'x, and opens up internet explorer and i dont use internet explorer ever. can this be fixed...hopefully this can be understood as i've had to type this ...ithout using that letter.thank you

It is possible that you accidentally switched the keyboard layout. Make sure that you have the Language bar visible on the Windows Taskbar. You can do that via the right-click context menu of the Taskbar: Toolbars > Language Bar.
