msnbc.com (or, possibly, Microsoft) crashes Firefox

more options

Firefox v3.5.5, Win XP sp3 When I right-click on a news article in msnbc.com and then click on Open in new tab, as soon as the news article begins to load in the new tab, Firefox crashes. Perhaps Microsoft has found a way to irritate Firefox users who visit msnbc.com.

Nevermind; it's Adobe's problem. The problem begins with attempting to load a video from msnbc.com which displays a popup explaining Adobe Flash Player must be updated to v10 and directs the user to Adobe's download page for Flash Player v10. Clicking on the "Agree" button to download FP v10 loads a page showing the user (me) is about to download "Adobe DLM". I am attempting to download Adobe Flash Player v10, not "Adobe DLM". If the user clicks on the instructions for Firefox, Adobe loads a page for downloading Adobe Reader. Thank you, Adobe, for your most thoughtful implementation for downloading FP v10.
