firefox crashes when i open it

60% of the time firefox crashes when i open it. it will open and run in safe mode, but i can't figure out what is causing the crash. please help?

Our support article Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems may be able to help you, this may also apply if you're not using the default theme as it could be a problem with the theme.

Also, try uninstalling the 1-Click Weather extension, I've seen a number of reports stating that this extension cause trouble.

If FF still crashes, start again in Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode and disable all extensions - then enable them one by one and test to find out which one causes the problem.
