Firefox used to remember my Yahoo mail password but it stopped, now requiring me to enter a password whenever I bring it up.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie that you must allow: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions" Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Cookies' and the 'Site Preferences'.

You suggested Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions" but I find no (Cookies)) tab to continue working, only History and Location Bar. In History I see a Remove individual cookies option that brings up a long cookie list that includes Yahoo.com, but removing is not what I want to do.

Thanks!

Thanks much!

But I did so with no effect; that is, Firefox still won't remember my Yahoo password. I'm beginning to wonder whether Yahoo modified its cookie on my computer, or did something else in the interest of security to prevent Firefox from remembering the password because there is no problem of Firefox remembering other passwords.

Tools/Options/Privacy select "use custom setting"  ; Select accept cookies from sites ( I unchecked " accept 3rd party cookies"); (I selected "keep until they expire"); I unchecked "clear history when Firefox closes"; and under Exceptions= cut and paste your logged in Yahoo mail web address into "address of website" (exception) and then click "allow". I have been able to select "Yahoo/Mail" from the Yahoo toolbar and be logged in automatically with the above settings. Also, after recent history is cleared (under "Tools") of "everything" you'll need to log into yahoo mail again and next time you log in your password will be remembered. lzmonk

Since upgrading Firefox days ago. Issues with Yahoo Email. Never have had these issues. After login, within 6-10 mins my email freezes, a POP UP from Yahoo says please re-enter your password. I do it. This then becomes Circus. To continue every few mins the same freeze, same pop up - for me to re-enter my password. Yahoo opens a new window and it says with message from Yahoo, we have you re-enter your password for your Security from time to time... Yesterday I believe I had to re-enter my password at least 60 times in the period of 4 hours. I have checked all my settings. I have cleaned my PC that It's spankin sparkling. I have changed my password. This is the Most Annoying since Firefox had the last glitch that affected Yahoo - It would not allow you to use Capital Letters while typing. There is a glitch with this upgrade. Is it possible to revert back to the previous version of Firefox?

From my account my login's recorded recent activity- showing the time duration of having to Re-Login -6/9: 11:05PM, 11:11PM,11:22PM,11:28PM - this morning from my Yahoo Acct info: 6/10: 8:18AM, 8:34AM, 9:05AM, 9:12AM - It's driving me insane!
