Not closing correctly - end program n
Right, let me work this out. I can be surfing and close firefox using the usual X in the top right. However, firefox still stays open in the background. When I look on task manager its there! and when i shut my pc down i get end program - n. I have ran sophos and ad-aware and they came up clean!

Try to run Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode (without any addons enabled). You can do it from Start Menu icon. If it helps, then you may need to reset your profile.

I have done this but i dont want to run firefox without addins and plugins!
