Amazon "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" feature not working properly
The Amazon "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" feature has stopped working for me recently, I have however noticed that if I click on the arrow to go to the next suggestions and the open my All in one sidebar the next suggestions load
URL of affected sites
http://http://www.amazon.co.uk/
Chosen solution
I had the same problem on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk (none of the recommendations carousels worked; they were blank or the arrows for browsing did not work).
Wiping cookies and cache and fiddling with add-ons did nothing.
Toggling dom.storage to "true" (it was "false") in about:config solved the problem.
I cannot remember why it was set to "false", but I have a niggling suspicion it might have been a part of some forgotten "Speed-Up-Firefox" scheme from long ago.

This fixed my problem, with Firefox 3.6.3 on Linux.
"I was having this same problem, but I was able to narrow it down to the setting dom.storage.enabled in the prefs.js file. I had it set to false for some reason. Changing it to the default value of true fixed the problem. "
Anonymous, ftw. :)
Thanks Anoniem
I have tried changing the dom.storage setting from false to true but the problem still persists.
I have also tried removing all my add-ons etc but to no avail.
However on my laptop i do not seem to be experiencing the problem, so I might try reinstalling Firefox when I have time to see if that solves the problem.
Cheers
Peter

I also have encountered similar issue,
while browsing Amazon of United States and Japan.
The items of "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought"
only just displayed nothing but blank.
I "temporarily" fixed this issue simply by enabling cookies :
Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Accept cookies from sites
(with Firefox 3.6.3 on Windows XP SP3).
My Firefox setting of dom.storage.enabled was also true.
I remembered it was not required to enable cookies,
if you want to view the items
of "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought"
on Amazon before.
Now it's a little like you have to enable (or accept) cookies
before logging in your Gmail account.
Thus I guess the information of "Customers Who Bought This
Item Also Bought" is likely to be exchanged and stored via
cookies likewise.
(Sorry, I'm not familiar with web standards. Just guess)
Hopefully, this can offer some tip to your issue.

I have tried deleting my cookies and cache and then allowing all cookies however the problem remains.
Thanks for your input though.
