how do i stop pip and locate the address bar to do it

Unfortunately, i can't do a copy and paste of Media, but neither box is checked. Do i need to do a restart? for the unchecks to take effect?

The address bar is the long box at the top of the Firefox window where you normally see the website address (for example, https://www.google.com).

To disable Picture-in-Picture, you can try this:

Open Firefox. Click the address bar at the very top of the window. Type about:preferences and press Enter. Scroll down to the Browsing section. Look for the Picture-in-Picture settings and turn off the option that allows Picture-in-Picture controls.

If you don't see that option, you can also click the PiP button that appears on a video and close the PiP window. Firefox's PiP settings can vary slightly between versions, so the exact wording may be different.

    on the right:  I see media
        sorry can't copy and paste here, but i see 3 empty square boxes
            use picture in a picture
                  keep playing videos
             play DRM-controlled

none of these are checked & neither do i see any PIP control button on or in the pip

If you still see a video in a small box - it is not PiP.

ok, i may not have pip but my problem is still here. How do i take a picture of my problem and enclose in this (post a reply) because i am obviously missing the boat. Thank you....b³

this is like 20 people touching an elephant and you get 20 different descriptions. My error, maybe it was never a pip, but it was picture within a picture, as i try to describe my elephant.

To stop Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and return to the address bar:

Close or Dock PiP: Hover over the floating Picture-in-Picture video window and click the "X" in the top corner to close it, or click the player icon with an arrow (Unpip) to send the video back to its original browser tab.

Locate the Address Bar: Press Ctrl + L (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + L (Mac) on your keyboard. This instantly focuses and highlights the main Firefox address bar (URL bar) at the top of your screen, allowing you to type a new search or web address right away.

(Note: If you want to disable the PiP toggle icon completely on videos, go to Settings > General, scroll to the Browsing section, and uncheck "Enable picture-in-picture video controls").

my apologies, i still have my problem, but maybe it has another name. if you go to this website, https://www.copaair.com/en-us/flights-from-united-states?hsid=204454344855&utm_campaign=14622081-CM-Weekly_Fares_EN_US_081826&utm_medium=email&_hsmi=359740017&utm_content=Weekly_Fares_Button6_EN&utm_source=Hubspot%20CM and click it, you will see a picture of a bridge and imposed over that is copa's pitch to sell you a flight--from, to, departure, return--simple so far, but when I move my cursor over departure the big picture behind all this copa information comes into play and will not leave. I can never fill in the departure area because of the big picture behind this information dominating the departure area. Neither can i take a screen of shot of it. As soon as i try and move my cursor out of the way the big picture disappears. I do have to move my cursor to the edge but try this see if you get what i get? If i am reading an article and they have a picture in the article, the same thing happens. I have to leave my cursor way out on the edge. If it gets in that picture frame, it is going to enlarge and dominate my screen. is this good enough for ya'll? any suggestions as to how i can make my description better? Thank you....b³

Can you check if you restart into Troubleshoot Mode (from Help menu) that it does the same thing? What if you change the browser window size, or Zoom level from the main menu — do the elements behave better?
