I am unable to add my Outlook email account to Thunderbird Desktop. I keep getting an authentication error when entering the Outlook password which I know is correct. Adding my Gmail account was no problem.

I am having similar issue. I removed an email account when I deleted the address from my host. When I established Google for Non Profits, I added the email address as a new user on Google, then attempted to add the account on Thunderbird. Thunderbird attempts to reestablish the old account and becomes confused and crashes when I attempt to change the configuration to google.
