I have Thunderbird 148.0 with windows 11. I have 5 email accounts. How do I turn off those unwanted and unneeded notifications of email messages. There are TONS of them and they are very irritating and serve no useful purpose that I can see.

It's all or nothing. The options to change or disable Notifications are found at menu item <Settings | General | Incoming Mails | When new messages arrive>.
