thunderbird
Lately, when I try to click on a different mailbox or message , nothing happens. repeating clicks sometimes works, and sometimes i have to first click on what I was previous viewing to get what I want to highlight, or click on different areas of a message or mailbox to get it to work. I am on mac tahoe 26.2. Did not have this problem before. What can I do to fix this problem?
Thanks Dan

Does this issue persist when you restart Thunderbird in troubleshoot mode? Help > Troubleshoot Mode....
Yes it still happens
Does your issue resemble the one described in this recent bug report ? https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2007021
Yes, that is it exactly. So it is a Mac problem, not a Mozilla problem. I will wait for the next Ios upgrade and hope it fixes the problem.
Thank you, Dan
Two ideas mentioned at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/256140830
- Logitech GHub
- disable Forti client from App Background Activity in Login Items & Extensions:
Modified
When I tried the link, I got the response page not found.
Try the same link without the double point at the end
I don't have the Forti client, I don't have a focus problem. My problem is not being able to open messages or mail boxes by clicking on them. It appears to be problem with Ios Tahoe 26.1 and 26.2
Thanks for the input
Dan
I moved up to 26 with 26.2 and when starting Thunderbird it all came up just fine but when opening a client window (new email) I found that I cannot move the window. The normal buttons (send) are nowhere to be seen, fortunately I can send with Cmd Enter.
It was working fine on all previous releases (the highest release as on Dec 17 2025) before skipping up to26.
