Email view
Just installed Thunderbird on a new laptop running Windows 11. Accounts are set up and I can see all the emails in my inbox. They are in the Table View. My problem is that I can not view the contents of the email. I used to be able to click/highlight a message and its contents would be displayed below the list of emails. I am unable get this view. Can you please help. Thank you, Jim

Select a message, then press the F8 key.
Thank you for the reply Ed. Unfortunately F8 ads the message content to another vertical column on an already crowded screen. There is Subject, From, Date, Spam, Delete and not enough room to see the entire message in the last column. I have used Thunderbird for a few years and the entire message content was always easy to view below the list of messages. This new layout may be fine for some but not me. I have numerous emails and have to get through them quickly. This layout does not allow for that. Jim

TB menu > View > Layout > choose 'Classic View'.
