Hi there,

Please try the steps below and see if the issue goes away (at may be different from the one jonzn4SUSE mentioned):

  1. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon at the left of the address bar.
    • If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
  2. If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache.
  3. If it does not help, also try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
  4. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode.

Did it help? Looking forward to your update!

Yeah, I have several laptops and all are having issues with YouTube. Just clicking on a tab with YT, it tries to reload and then it all goes downhill. The browser hangs, cpu fans get louder, and I have to restart the browser and avoid YT. As a test, I jumped on my 2012 mac running 115esr and all is well with the same add-ons installed.

If you have something running an old esr version with the same add-ons, give it a try and see if you have better performance like me.
