Trojan.JS.Agent.exz found inside Firefox Cache folder by Kaspersky
Kaspersky just found this hidden in the Firefox cache folder and the funny part is that I don't even use Firefox that much. I didn't visit any sites on this particular Firefox except Facebook. So, what sort of malware is this? A Trojan stealer or a dropper of some sort? I am running a Full Scan for now and I have uninstalled all the browsers incl Firefox, Chrome. Detection name: Trojan.JS.Agent.exz

Since this is a Trojan, can this be Dangerous? I scanned it in virustotal and 33 engines were saying malware.

For information purposes. Type, about:cache, in the address bar. Take a look at your List Cache Entries -> cache2

An old article on this is https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Firefox%20cache%20file%20was%20infected%20with%20a%20virus though the steps in Settings have changed https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache
You are not infected if this was only found in the Cache folder as it is harmless if left alone there. It will either get overwritten over time as Cache gets used or deleted if you clear the Cache.

Thanks, both the files were present only in the Cache2/entries folder. As per the link and others. It's basically cache of some viral javascript that one of the website had, am I correct?
