There are four tabs on the tab line that did not close out when I turned off the computer. Each time I come on the tabs are still there. I can close them out individually but they come on again when I sign in again. Also, I can not use the "home" button to utilize Google.

You can go to Settings→General→Startup and uncheck the "Open previous windows and tabs" option, and then observe whether Firefox will have this problem. For the issue of not being able to use Google on the homepage, please make sure that the "Homepage and new windows" option in Settings→Home→New Windows and Tabs is set to Custom URLs and the URL is set to google.com. Since your description is a bit brief, more information may be needed to further identify the problem.
