Recently I have received the following message when I try to access some web sites;

we could not verify the certificate: reason = wrongHost

What is going on here and how do I fix it?

Hi Tom

I think that this may be an issue with the Firefox DNS resolved cache.

To flush the DNS cache in Firefox, type about:networking#dns into the Firefox address bar and press Enter, then click the Clear DNS Cache button on the page that appears. This will clear the browser's internal DNS resolver cache which may resolve this issue.
