Thunderbird version 142 seems to have affected OWL. One of my email accounts that is on a microsoft server has completely disappeared. Please help. Am I able to go backwards to a prior version.

Your problem is with an addon. Thunderbird does not do support for addons. If you contact the developer, there appears to be a fix available.

142 has major problems in both OSX and Windows, look at the help list here for all the complaints. I had 142 on Catalina and it would crash every time it quit and sometimes randomly. The last time it simply bounced in the dock and never opened.

I have no add-ons at all.

I deleted both profiles and re downloaded it and it still won't open.

So I went back to 142ESR and it crashes on closing but at least it works. The option to send a report to Apple is not helpful at all. They don't care.
