New Message button
My green "New Message" button has stopped working for some reason. I've tried switching it off then back on but it still won't work. so at the moment I can't create new emails. Regards William

What you need to do is go into Accounts and set an account to be the default account. Then it will start working again.
I had this same problem. Without a default account it won't open the new message window (and it does not produce and error to see this either).

Thanks Jason. I'm not a computer person but I went to accounts as you suggested and tried clicking the default buttons without changing anything. I'm not sure exactly what difference it made technically but the "new email" button is working again. I appreciate you taking time out to solve my issue. Regards Bill
I have the same problem and tried the above solution but my default button is greyed out and next to it in red is 'delete' Now what?
