Firefox won't open any lomger

Firefox is my default browser. I few days ago, it failed to open, and continues to do so. When I click on the icon, I get the blue spinning circle for a few seconds, then nothing. I have tried to refresh and reinstall, but nothing worked.

Does it work if you rename firefox.exe to firefox1.exe? To locate firefox.exe, go to FF menu > Help > More troubleshooting information > Application Basics > Application Binary.

If it works:

- go to https://familysafety.microsoft.com or open the Family Safety mobile app

- select the child

 - allow other browsers:
   - disable 'Filter inappropriate websites' under the Edge tab, or
   - go to Windows tab > Apps & Games > unblock FF

If you can't do anything there, try disabling the [Parental Controls service](https://impulsec.com/parental-control-software/microsoft-family-safety-turn-off/#Disabling-Microsoft-Family-Safety).
