How do I open the calendar in its own window?

With the default settings, it is impossible to open a window without the email tab open. How do I enable this to show just the calendar in its own window. In my workflow, I like to have one window open for my email and a separate window that I keep open with just the calendar. The tab bar is always open when the calendar is open and it's a waste of usable space. Is there a setting to fix this?

Open the Calendar tab, then right-click the tab, Move to New Window.

Unfortunately, when I do this it looks like it opens in a new window but still with the default inbox tab. I'm looking for instructions about how to open the calendar in its own window with no other tabs. Please let me know if this behavior can be adjusted in settings or a particular version of Thunderbird (Windows). I'm using 128.9.2esr (64-bit)

I don't think it's possible to open the calendar in a separate window without at least showing the Inbox tab as well. Many years ago, it was possible, when the calendar was a separate add-on. But the method proposed above is adequate for most purposes, e.g. moving the calendar to a separate monitor.
