I'm guessing there is a new update to Firefox. Now I am getting messages saying "Web site will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it". Well so far 3 different sites I go to regularly have shown me this, and there is no option or any means I see to get to the feature on that web site that I have been using for at least a year. This morning when I started firefox and it came up with a page I had previously left open, last night, now I can't to the content on that page. I really need to get back to that information. Is there some way I can tell Firefox that I would like to see the information I am now not allowed to see? If not I will try and see if I can go back to the previous version of firefox and figure out how to prevent automatic updating of firefox in the future.

That's not new. For many years, if a site instructed Firefox not to allow a page to be framed, Firefox has honored that instruction. Does the embedded area work if you

  • right-click > This Frame > Open Frame in New Tab

To check on whether this was a glitch in the web content cache, if you haven't already, try clearing your Firefox cache: How to clear the Firefox cache (only select Cached web content, don't clear all cookies and site data).

Otherwise, I wonder whether a setting changed or an add-on stopped working or the site changed how it serves content?
