New laptop trouble

I just got a new laptop. I downloaded firefox because i had it on my laptop that broke. For some reason it synced data and bookmarks from an account back in highschool that i havent touched in years. i use it on my phone so everything on my phone is correct but how do i get it to sync from my old laptop to this new one? I'm very confused and i'd appreciate help with this so i dont have to go back through and find and save everything all over again.

To sync to the right Firefox data you have to keep both account separate sync password and login to prevent account merging from one to another. You need to have a Firefox school sync and a new current one for your laptop Firefox account each with different logins and password. If they are the same logins all the bookmarks and data will merge or one will update and remove links not existing in the other sync and possible you could loose bookmarks or saved data from one or the other.
