Comment from one of our users: "thunderbird is really not working right for me... it's a mess on the 'sent' folder, with either no content shown or the wrong email appearing to the wrong people...", please see image (1).png, and "on this e-mail, an image appears that I never ever have seen in my life. Can I use something else, that is not webmail? XXX mentioned she uses outlook and doesn't have issues at all", see image (2).png.

I've tried the compact folders "fix". This fix appears to only work on Windows.

The user is on a Mac and out in the field. They are non technical. I'm seeing them tomorrow but don't really know what I can do for their dilema, apart from setup Outlook as they request.

This has been a long standing issue, I raised it two years ago. Sorry I can't really add anything useful. If you can get back to me with what error data can be collected I'm happy to upload it.

Many thanks, that has solved the issue, for now. Why isn't this easier to get to, as it seems required, at least on Windows and Apple, and why isn't it run periodically in the background. It's like compacting folders, why do I need to be asked? Can't it just be run in the background? I know you can click that little checkkbox, but none of our users seems to notice that option!
