I have the same problem as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1236002 I am using Windows 10 with the latest version of Firefox, and I have a fresh profile (5 months old) while using a maximum of 10 windows. Initially, it happened a few times a day, but today it’s a 50:50 chance that Firefox will freeze completely, and I have to restart it entirely. Sometimes I do this up to 30 times a day. If I use drag and drop, it doesn't happen.

I am not using network drives, nor are there any unavailable resources on the network, and explorer works fine the entire time.

Show us something? Hard to help with something we cannot see. Provide steps to replicate the issue. Does it happen with a certain file or any file? What version of Firefox are you running? Windows home or pro? What security software are you running? Did you try with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode?
